So last week we had a very special piece come into the store 
& I wanted to give it a shout out. 

We have it listed on the website as the

When it came to us it had all of it's original parts, but had been dissasembled. One of the cross pieces and a side ledge needed to be re-tacked and a couple drawers re-squared. After minor repairs everything cleaned up beautifully!! This is a soild oak piece with burled wood details. The piece is around 100 yrs old and in excilent condition. It has 3 marble slabs and all are intact and unchipped/scratched.

 It has 2 large drawers (the bottom drawer has a split from age, but is completely functional) and 4 small drawers above. The mirror is original and in fantastic condition, no cracks, nicks or chips.

 This is truely a historical beauty and I loved getting to work on such an interesting piece. The craftsmanship is excelent and a true testiment to a bigone era. Dressing tables were fashionable furnishing pieces during the Victorian period, due to the rise in dandyism. Maybe you're not a dandy, but you'll def impress your friends with this addition to your home.
